Regulation of the examination board on the handling of certificates:

On February 03, 2016, the Examination Committee of the Bachelor's Degree Program in Photonics and Machine Vision decided to clarify the regulations for missing an examination due to illness as follows:
If you are unable to attend an examination for which you are registered due to illness, you must immediately consult a doctor and obtain a medical certificate. The certificate must state the duration of the inability to work (from ... to ...). A certificate will only be recognized if it is received by the department within three working days of issue, either as an original or scanned in by e-mail; in the latter case, you must provide the original within one week. The examination board may set an alternative date for the cancelled examination after the end of the certified incapacity to work.
The requirement of a 'qualified certificate' to distinguish the inability to take the examination from the inability to work or study has been waived for the time being in order not to burden the students financially by such a certificate.
