Events

The subpages list the events that are regularly offered by the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences or where teachers of the department are involved in the organization.

Together with the University Center for Student Success and Career Start, the MatheFit program is maintained. During lectures, students of the Applied Mathematics program supervise the Math Learning Center, which is open to all students. Shortly before exams, there is an additional intensive math day for students of all disciplines. Preparatory courses in mathematics (in March and September) and physics (in October) are offered to first-year students.

During the lecture period, the MN-Seminar is generally held once a month, at which lecturers from the department or invited guests present current research projects.

Forum Mathematik is a conference held once a year where teachers who teach mathematics at Hessian universities can exchange ideas.
