Nearly 40 students, some of whom posed for a small group photo at the end of the event, visited the department with their teachers. In addition to a presentation of the Applied Mathematics Bachelor's program, they were also able to participate directly in a lecture on linear algebra, got a small insight into the exciting field of statistics and solved tricky problems on the topic of Monte Carlo integration under the guidance of a laboratory engineer.
