Two days of intensive closed meeting are behind the Department MN of the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt. The focus was on the realignment of the bachelor's and master's degree programs in mathematics. There were intensive discussions:
- Which topics within mathematics are currently important and will also be important in the future?
- How do we manage to present the application reference to the economy even more clearly to the outside world?
- How do we inspire young people to study at a university of applied sciences?
- How do we take away the shyness of future students to study mathematics?
As moderator, Annelie Eichhorn-Adler ensured that everyone could contribute their ideas and doubts and discuss them with each other.
In the end, the direction was defined. And now it's time for the concrete further development of the courses of study.
